Joanna Pevey is the Executive Assistant and Development Manager on the Empower Team. In her role, Pevey supports the CEO, keep projects and commitments on track, maintain the organization’s strategic fundraising plan, and help connect new donors to the organization.
Pevey previously worked at University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry and at St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church’s Weekday Ministry.
Pevey has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. Pevey and her son, Easton, reside in Pelahatchie. They are members of Journey Church in Pearl, MS. In her free time, Joanna enjoys spending time with family, reading, and the occasional shopping trip.
